Buxom Boudoir is Wisconsin’s only full-service, body-affirming boudoir studio right on Lake Michigan. Alicia proudly creates a safe, joyful space for all bodies – every size, shape, race, gender, sexuality, and ability are welcome here.
From start to finish, she takes care of everything: prep guides, wardrobe up to 6x, pro hair & makeup, posing support, and same-day image reveals. You’ll leave with gorgeous, handmade artwork and a boost of confidence that lasts for years.
This is more than just a photo shoot. It’s a healing experience rooted in body neutrality, self-love, and celebration. The goal is to help you see yourself with fresh, loving eyes. Gifting your partner something steamy is just the cherry on top!
Alicia has found her calling! I had an amazing session and love the outcome! She does a fantastic job of making you comfortable and leads you through each pose. As a mom of 4, it can be hard to see your self as anything else but Alicia was able to accomplish this in one afternoon! Picking my photos was the hardest part, which I never thought would be the issue! Now almost 2 weeks later I find myself with a new sense of confidence! Only problem…I want to do it again!

We booked a shoot for our 15th anniversary and it BEYOND exceeded our expectations. One of the best experiences of my life. Alicia is FABULOUS. From planning the vision of our shoot to feeling not only extremely comfortable in the studio, but sexier than I’ve ever felt. We had a blast. 5 stars out of 5! Seriously though, my boudoir photo shoot with Alicia was more like a 100 out of 10 experience! From our first phone call to our pre-shoot video conference to the day of, Alicia made me feel seen, heard, and celebrated. She was genuinely excited about the personal touches I wanted to include in the shoot, like a hand-knit shawl and a champagne flute from my wedding. She took the time to talk openly with me about what I love (and don’t love) about my body. Alicia’s body-positive approach came though during every interaction.
On shoot day, I wasn’t feeling 100%, and Alicia had hot tea waiting for me. She also brought in a bottle of sparkling apple cider to fill my champagne flute. Talk about thoughtful! My makeup (by the amazing Meghan) was flawless! I even wore false eyelashes for the first time and had to ask how to take them off. We laughed a lot!
The photo shoot itself was empowering, joyful, and honestly just fun. Alicia guided me through every pose, showing me previews in the camera to build my confidence, never rushing me. She captured moments that were not just sexy but joyful. Some of my favorite shots are the ones where I’m laughing. Her studio is gorgeous, with natural light, inspired backdrops, and even an outdoor boardwalk for shots by Lake Michigan.
Reviewing the photos the same day, I chose way more than I expected. I even picked wall art, which I never thought I’d do! Now, I look at these photos every day to remind myself how beautiful, powerful, and amazing I am! I left the session that day feeling gorgeous, sexy, and so confident! What I thought would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience is now something I can’t wait to do again. Alicia is an artist, a true professional, a hype woman, and a true gift.
