Love is art, and art should reflect the richness of every story. This vibrant, maximalist editorial centers diversity and Black excellence through fearless fashion, saturated color, and layered, high-impact design. With multiple backdrops and expressive styling that redefine tradition, every detail celebrates authenticity, creativity, and the freedom to celebrate love loudly.
Miriam Events Co and O&B Photo Co teamed up to plan this photoshoot, with Miriam Events Co leading the design and O&B Photo Co capturing every detail behind the camera. The first scene featured a tropical painted backdrop by Castle Walls Wedding Decor surrounded by bright floral arrangements and painted palm leaves by Unordinary Omen.

Strike Bridal Bar stepped outside the lines, selecting stunning, complementary gowns for both the bride and the groom. For her first look, the bride wore a strapless A-line gown with long, off-the-shoulder sleeves and a plunging illusion-V neckline. The luxe fabric was simple and sleek, draping into a cathedral-length train and tied into an oversized bow in the back.
The groom’s dress was all about color and texture, beginning with a creped, pale blush fabric base. The strapless, A-line silhouette featured pleated fabric on the bodice, with an illusion-V neckline, and a full skirt. Most notably, colorful floral motifs artfully adorned the fabric from top to bottom.

The tablescape was a vision of red, blue, and gold, set beneath a glowing, tiered chandelier. Lollipop Media Designs set the scene with a draped linen table menu surrounded by Unordinary Omen’s bright red, blush, and pink floral arrangements composed of roses, amaranthus, anthuriums, lilies, pincushion protea, and cherry blossom branches.
Details on the table featured pieces from Velvet Rentals, including mirrored stars, starbursts, crystal glassware, matte-black table lamps, white dinner plates, and gold silverware. Gold leaf chargers, colored flute glasses, candles, candy, and desserts by Happy Joy Hospitality, and a cutting cake from Madison Sourdough added the perfect finishing touches.

Lotus Artistry kept the couple positively glowing, with makeup looks that were bold, but not overpowering. The bride was stunning in smoky eyes, shimmering highlights, rouged cheeks, and a red lip. Carefully arranged rhinestones around her eyes, custom press-on nails by Nair Fairy 414, and ample gold jewelry completed her look.

The couple debuted a second look alongside artful cocktails from Nomadic Beverage Co., then headed back to the tropical setting for portraits beneath a yellow tasseled umbrella.

The bride’s second dress, also from Strike Bridal Bar, was a statuesque, strapless satin gown with a cateye neckline and asymmetrical floral appliques across the bodice. The dress was accessorized with tulle rhinestone gloves and a skinny scarf—perfect for stunning motion shots!
The groom’s second look was a twist on the classic suit, featuring an oversized jacket worn unbuttoned with no undershirt and white pants secured with suspenders. A floral boutonniere and patterned dress shoes offered pops of color for this ensemble.

For a quick last look, the couple stepped into a red, eclectic space with patterned floors, antique furniture, warming lighting, and ornate, Egyptian-inspired décor.
The bride’s final dress was a satin, asymmetrical gown with one long sleeve, one cold-shoulder sleeve, and an open-cowl draped back secured by a strappy bow. The groom wore linen dress pants with a tasselled, sheer, sequined button-up dress shirt.
