Planned and brought to life by Unique by Monique Weddings, this bold summer romance styled shoot celebrates love in all its vibrant, beautiful forms. Featuring a talented team of local vendors, this editorial is filled with rich color, genuine connection, and the creative freedom for couples to express their authentic selves.

Cayla the Painter provided a stationery suite with unique typography and custom-painted illustrations. The color palette was all about warm, radiant sunsets. Red, orange, yellow, and purple took center stage, with black and white accents rounding out the light and dark. Cayla artfully blended the colors into a three-piece, custom-painted sunset backdrop at the ceremony with fluffy clouds and a silhouetted foreground. Her artistic talents later extended to the bar, where the design carried over to a drink menu by Over the Moon Bartending and a painted wine bottle.

Bonnie Lee Beauty selected a subtle, natural makeup for the couple. In addition to sculpting impeccable brows for the couple and bridesmaids, Gracie also had blushed cheeks, subtle smoky eyeshadow, and a rosy lip. Hair stylist, Paige Thiemer Hair Design, took a similar, effortlessly chic approach for the couple. Gracie's long locks were loosely curled and cascaded, while Luca rocked a matte, slicked-back, textured style.

Gracie wore a strapless gown from White Dress Wedding Boutique. The dress had a structured sweetheart bodice with delicate lace and beading, a semi-open back, and a flowing tulle skirt. At the ceremony, she wore a cathedral-length, crystal-edged veil made for a grand entrance and a gorgeous ring from Kessler's Diamonds.

DuBois Formalwear selected a unique, luxe plum suit jacket for Luca, which paired perfectly with a white undershirt, a dark checkered tie, black pants, and black shoes--and we didn't miss those fun striped socks! Florasynthesis put the finishing touches on Luca's attire with an oversized, boldly colored floral boutonniere.

The modern-industrial charm of the River Valley Historic Venue was the perfect place to host this bold editorial. Every space in the venue has been modernized and renovated in an effort to create comfortable, inviting spaces that still preserve the original architecture. Original wood floors, exposed beams, 12' ceilings, and wall-to-wall brick were illuminated by natural light, easily transforming to this sun-soaked vision. Black cross-back chairs and decor from Relics Rentals also helped bring cohesion and character to the ceremony, grazing table, and bar scenes.

Additional florals provided by Florasyntesis included Gracie's vibrant, mid-sized bouquet composed of orange and red roses, amaranthus, ranunculus, scabiosa, and greenery. The aisles were also lined with smaller florals, and the ceremony backdrop was bursting with colorful arrangements, both along the ground and secured to the painted pieces at various heights.

Each bridesmaid was individually styled in a unique, richly jewel-toned gown from Bella Bridesmaids, with the maid of honor wearing a short, patterned dress. Florasyntesis accessorized each of the models with her own small, simple bouquet.

Everybody loves a grazing table, and Swiss the Girl brought both beauty and flavor to this wedding design. Small bites were beautifully arranged for some delicious cocktail hour inspiration.

At the dessert table, Greige Patisserie showcased a two-tiered white cake adorned with a funky, piped frosting texture. Florals, grapes, and dried figs added a pop of color to the final design, which was displayed on a crystal pedestal.

Caroline Cavalcante Photography and Wilk Films captured all of the details of this bold, joyful, queer wedding inspiration with thoughtful angles, warm edits, and with the couple's love and personality in mind.
