A masterclass in balance, this 'Pretty in Peach' editorial proves that luxury doesn't have to shout to be heard. Planned and designed by Renee Breanne Design + Co., this editorial is a romantic celebration of texture, warmth, and refined elegance. Set within the light-filled HYDE space at St. James 1868, this shoot pairs soft peach and blush tones with fresh floral details, elegant paper goods, and impeccable styling. Lettered by Shi provided a vintage luxury stationery suite for the day, using her distinctive letterpress technique and embossing on textured, handmade paper. Her color palette was warm and clean, including white, peach, coral, pale pink, and accents of mustard yellow, green, and gold. The invitation was layered and tied with gold thread and secured with a luxurious wax seal.
The invitation pieces were elegantly understated, featuring only text, texture, and a customized couple monogram, while the graphic envelope liner perfectly balanced the design. Other stationery and signage pieces included a layered menu, marble table number, and acrylic bar sign.
St. James 1968 has multiple event spaces available for couples and celebrations. The HYDE, capable of hosting up to 150 guests, boasts a two-story vaulted loft with tall windows, original hardwood floors, and beautiful neutral paneling and molding. Inside, a lounge, ceremony, and reception scene was set, complete with centerpiece florals from Feisty Flowers, luxe linens from BBJ La Tavola, tasteful cutlery, wooden cross-back chairs, and romantic candles.
Two models participated in the editorial shoot. Sarah was styled in a chic, strapless gown with illusion cutouts on the side and a column silhouette. The dress also featured symmetrical, high slits on either side. Bridal Beaut styled her center-parted hair in a sleek, low ponytail secured by a coiled gold clip. Melody Sopa Artistry selected an ethereal, natural palette for the brides. The makeup team sculpted her brows, applied a subtle eyeshadow and top liner, and chose a delicate peach lip color to complete the look. Other accessories include gold drop earrings and strappy white shoes with oversized flower detailing.
Composed of spring and summer blooms, floral arrangements by Feisty Flowers graced every space. Prominent florals included white daffodils, peach and blush garden roses, yellow orchids, ranunculus, sweet peas, and whimsical baby's breath.
Also by Melody Sopa Artistry, Amanda's makeup was similarly natural and glowy, featuring sculpted brows, subtle smoky eyeshadow, and soft liner on both the top and bottom lash lines. Bridal Beaut arranged her two-tone braids into a top bun, leaving one strand out to asymmetrically frame her face. She wore a trendy, short, v-neck dress with an oversized bow cascading down the back, pearl drop earrings, and gold shoes.
Emi's Images Photography LLC photographed this stunning editorial, collaborating with creative direction from Autumn Silva Photography. The models were posed throughout the spaces, highlighting the tablescape, florals, ceremony setup, lounge, bar, and beautiful architecture of the venue. The final images captured the clean, warm ambiance and luxe design... and were selected as WedPlan Milwaukee's first cover image!
