Set against the industrial-chic backdrop of The Cooperage Milwaukee, Jordan and Todd's wedding was a perfect mix of vintage boho charm and modern city elegance. Their terracotta palette, handmade décor, and riverside ceremony created a warm, personal atmosphere that reflected their story. With heartfelt details, a few sweet surprises, and plenty of celebration, this wedding radiated joy and authenticity.

Jordan and Todd took their time falling in love. They began as friends in college, having known each other for years before they started dating. While the people around them always saw the spark, they didn't realize their feelings were mutual until Jordan accompanied Todd to a wedding--as friends. After enjoying a beautiful day together, they decided to get to know one another better, and then easily transitioned into a relationship.

Over the next few years, they adopted a dog named Jax, started a business, bought a house, traveled the world, and so much more. Todd proposed in Cappadocia, Turkey, at sunrise, surrounded by hot air balloons, in a moment Jordan described as "magical" (and we agree!).

Milwaukee is home for the couple, both where they live and where they have worked hard to establish their business. Being familiar with the city, they aimed to book Milwaukee-based vendors that could bring their vintage boho wedding to life. They prioritized vendors who felt genuine and trustworthy, who took the time to get to know them and understand their vision.

Jordan found her dream dress at Miss Ruby Bridal. The gown featured a mermaid silhouette, with simple, elegant fabric, and a plunging v-neckline and back. She was accessorized with pearl jewelry and a hip-length veil, beautifully clipped into her low up-do hair by Kaitlyn Spence.

Her bridesmaids wore dresses of various fabrics and necklines, each within a terracotta color palette that matched the groomsmen's bow ties and pocket squares.

Todd and his groomsmen wore black suits from Generation Tux paired with white undershirts. In contrast with his groomsmen, Todd accessorized with a classic black bow tie and white pocket square. He was also accessorized with custom cuff links.

Dating back to the late 1800s, The Cooperage Milwaukee has over a century of history, making it the perfect space to host Jordan & Todd's big day. The industrial-chic venue is situated near the Milwaukee River, offering stunning views and backdrops, both inside and out. Jordan and Todd had an outdoor ceremony framed by changing leaves, flowing water, cityscape, and the iconic Hoan Bridge. Their dog, Jax, even joined the celebration to walk down the aisle in the cutest suit!

Jordan's mom was a huge help with the details, DIY elements, and planning for the day. Working together, Jordan and her mom took on the florals and signage, from signature drink signs, bouquets, and table numbers that featured the couple's engagement photos.

Thinking back on her wedding, Jordan advises, "Take time to include personalized aspects into your day that will be special to you and give your guests a way to get to know you better and see the unique details about you. Get as much done as you can early on so you can take time at the end to fine-tune small details."

In addition to the personalized drink menu, Jordan & Todd's cocktail hour included boat rides from Milwaukee Duffy Boats and yard games from Yard Games MKE. The boat rides were also the perfect spot for stunning couple portraits captured by their photographer, Emi's Images. The couple gushed, "Emi was great to work with for photography. She was so easy to talk to, and you could tell she cared a lot about helping make our day smooth, stress-free, and the best it could be."

Later in the reception, guests enjoyed catering from The Cooperage and Taco Moto, as well as cake from Periwinkle's Bakery, cookies from BB Cakes Bakery, cupcakes from Killer Sweets, and more tasty desserts made by loved ones. DJ Milwaukee Airwaves kept the dance floor packed and fun all night long, staying true to the couple's genres and special requests.

For those currently in the wedding planning process, the couple offers a sweet reminder: "As much as you want to make it an enjoyable experience for your guests, which you should to some extent, remember this is your day, so make decisions for you and your partner overall. As stressful as it can be, everything will fall into place, and it will all be worth it when you get to celebrate with all your loved ones."
