Bucci's Bridal provided two gowns for the styled shoot. Model Julia's ceremony styling was an ethereal, A-line dress with a criss-cross, ruched bodice, V-neckline, and short, off-the-shoulder sleeves. The airy tulle fabric was further accentuated by a cathedral-length, embroidered veil that trailed down the aisle.
For makeup, Ms Lauryn Marie kept the look natural, refined, and beautiful. She worked with subtle peach and champagne tones for eyeshadow, blush, and lip color to give the bride a soft, radiant glow. Meghan Mueller took a similar approach for Julia's hair. The stylist began with soft waves and created a half-updo for the bride. Face framing pieces were left loose, softening the overall look.
The groom wore a stylish black suit from Generation Tux, a black vest, a pleated white undershirt, and a black bow-tie. In lieu of a traditional boutonniere or pocket square, Ritual Floral designed a wearable floral lapel that coordinated with the bride's bouquet.
Located just three minutes from downtown Milwaukee, Prairie Springs on Park is a new event venue that blends urban elegance with natural Wisconsin landscapes. The eco-friendly, industrial-inspired setting showcased abundant natural light, vaulted ceilings, salvaged cream city brick, and reclaimed wood across every wedding scene. The spaces easily transformed to fit the theme, allowing the fashion, décor, and details to shine in the foreground, supported by geometric windows and architecture.
Floral colors for the day included burgundy, pink, peach, blush, white, and purple blooms. Ritual Floral got creative with their designs, from the bridal bouquet and an oversized floral lapel for the groom to bud vases and pedestal arrangements at the ceremony, as well as dessert displays and the tablescape. The florals were primarily composed of roses, ranunculus, peonies, garden roses, carnations, amaranthus, bells of Ireland, Queen Anne's lace, and soft greenery.
The reception tablescape expanded the color palette, adding touches of sage green and gold details. Rentals from Adorn Event Company and Windy City Linen set the table, including crystal glassware, gold-rimmed chargers, vintage plating, gold silverware, and glowing burgundy candles.
Julia debuted her second dress, also from Bucci's Bridal, a luxurious, satin gown with a sweetheart neckline, a structured corset bodice, and optional puffy sleeves at the elbow. Like this first dress, this gown also had an A-line silhouette and a flowing train.
Frosted by Farah provided an array of tasty treats for the editorial. The team artfully displayed her dessert cups, macarons, cream puffs, and other bite-sized specialties on the Dessert Cart, a traveling (and cute!) catering option from Brazen Standard Hospitality.
A sage green, heart-shaped cake, also by Frosted by Farah, stood nearby, appearing to float upon acrylic columns accentuated with florals, and surrounded by candles. The cake featured abundant, decorative frosting, with white detailing and edible pearl beads.
For couples who want a wedding day full of guest experiences and friendly competition, other reception highlights included a champagne tower from Prairie Springs on Park's full-service bar and lawn games from Yard Games MKE. Games included prize wheels, giant Jenga, giant chess, bag toss, and ring toss.
